Chargers & power strips — sourced with the compliance paperwork that actually clears customs

I spent 8 years inside a charger and power strip manufacturer. Now I help importers, distributors and online sellers get the right product with the right documentation — so nobody finds out at the port what was missing.

Four one-page references. Free, no sales calls. Just your email.

Where orders go wrong

The problems I spend most of my time fixing

None of these are exotic. They are the same four issues, over and over — and all of them are cheap to prevent and expensive to fix.

Customs

A certificate that doesn't cover your market

CE covers the EU. It does nothing for Korea, India, Saudi Arabia or Brazil. Each of those wants something different, and the differences are not obvious until a shipment is held.

Sourcing

A "CE certificate" that doesn't cover your model

This is the most common one, and it's usually carelessness rather than fraud. The certificate is real — it just isn't for the product you're buying. Check the model number, character by character.

Verification

A supplier who can't produce the test report

A certificate is a one-page summary. The test report has the measured values and the sample photos. If only the summary is available, that's worth understanding before you pay a deposit.

Logistics

A power bank stopped for missing UN38.3

Any product with a lithium cell needs transport documentation. It's treated as a safety issue, not paperwork — which is why it stops shipments rather than generating a polite request.

What you get

Documentation checked before you pay, not after

Compliance checked first

Tell me your model and target market. I'll tell you which documents you need and which ones you're missing — before you commit money.

Certificate set available

CB reports, CE (LVD/EMC/RoHS/ErP), UKCA, UL test reports, FCC, KC, BIS, CCC, SASO, INMETRO, PSE — the certificates and full test reports are available on request.

Small orders welcome

Most factories won't take a trial order. If you're testing a market before committing to a container, that's exactly the situation I'm useful in.

Worth asking your current supplier: "Do you have a CB report for this model?" If you sell — or plan to sell — in more than one market, that one document is worth more than the certificate you were originally sent.
